<p>I am a pretty early riser which is a good thing for a photographer as the obvious light benefits are amazing.</p>
<p>The hard part of rising early is that I enjoy being still and quiet.  My daily routine of  rising to prayer and then sitting still to enjoy a cup of hot tea is a significant  helper to start my day off right.  Motivating myself to actually get up and drive the car looking for early morning beauty with my camera is somewhat difficult.  I must say, however, the benefits almost ALWAYS out-weigh the discomfort to one&#8217;s sleepy body.</p>
<p>Here are some photos from a trip I did last week.  They were taken along Route 94 on the way from St. Louis to Marthasville, Missouri.</p>
